KAZBAR REVIEWS
Kazbar is my absolute favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in Singapore! The atmosphere truly transports you with its beautiful decor and lively music. We started with the Mixed Cold Mezzeh Platter, and every dip – especially the hummus and baba ghanoush – was incredibly fresh and flavorful, served with warm, fluffy pita. For mains, the Mixed Grill Platter was phenomenal; the lamb chops were tender and smoky, and the chicken shish taouk was perfectly grilled.
“Eric”
Came to Kazbar specifically for the kebabs and was not disappointed. The Lamb Kebab was succulent, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, easily one of the best I’ve had in Singapore. My partner had the Shish Taouk, which was equally delicious. We also ordered the Falafel Platter as a starter, and those falafels were crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft inside – definitely a must-try! The portions are generous, and the service was attentive even on a busy night.
“Enzo”
Kazbar offers a truly immersive dining experience that goes beyond just the food. While the food itself is excellent – the Hummus with Lamb (Hummus Bi Lahme) was incredibly rich and satisfying, and the Baklava for dessert was perfectly sweet and flaky – it’s the whole package that makes it special. The decor is gorgeous, and the shisha area adds to the relaxed, exotic vibe. We visited on a night with live entertainment, and it made the evening unforgettable. It’s a great spot for celebrating or just enjoying some fantastic Middle Eastern hospitality.

ALTERNATIVES OF KAZBAR RESTAURANT IN SINGAPORE
Beirut Grill: Located on Bussorah Street (Kampong Glam area), Beirut Grill is a long-standing and highly-regarded Lebanese restaurant. It offers a very similar experience to Kazbar with a strong focus on traditional mezze, charcoal-grilled kebabs, and often features live belly dancing on select nights. They are known for their authentic flavours and warm hospitality.
Shabestan, Finest Persian Restaurant: While specialising in Persian (Iranian) cuisine rather than Lebanese/Moroccan, Shabestan offers a luxurious and authentic Middle Eastern fine-dining experience. They are renowned for their charcoal-grilled kebabs (lamb kubideh, saffron chicken), aromatic rice dishes, and selection of mezze. It provides a more upscale and refined atmosphere compared to Kazbar’s lively vibe, but with equally deep roots in Middle Eastern culinary traditions.
Grand Konak: This restaurant offers a blend of Turkish and Lebanese cuisine. Located at Clarke Quay, it’s known for its authentic flavours, including various kebabs, mezze, and traditional dishes like Mandi. It can be a good option for a slightly different take on Middle Eastern flavours.
Tabbouleh Lebanese Restaurant: Situated on Bussorah Street, Tabbouleh is another solid choice for Lebanese food. It’s a more casual and cosy setting but delivers authentic mezze, grilled meats, and Lebanese favourites.
