HALCYON AND CRANE REVIEWS
Halcyon and Crane is a breath of fresh air in the Singapore dining scene! Their menu is so unique and exciting. I tried the Dan Dan Spaghettini, and it was phenomenal! The Sichuan Mala spice was perfectly balanced with the creamy yogurt sauce, and the pork ragu was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My friend had the Crispy French Toast for dessert, and it was light, fluffy, and simply divine. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Went to Halcyon and Crane for brunch with friends, and it was a mixed bag. The food was delicious! I had the Smashed Avocado Toast with Poached Egg, and it was perfectly seasoned and the avocado was super fresh. My friend got the Halcyon & Crane Big Breakfast, and it was a huge portion – definitely enough to share. However, the price point is a bit on the high side, especially for brunch. Overall, the food was great, but be prepared for a bit of a splurge.

The concept of Halcyon and Crane is really interesting, but the execution wasn’t always perfect for me. I loved their Crispy Squid with Mala Aioli – the squid was perfectly cooked and the aioli had a nice kick. However, my friend’s Baked Egg Pancake with Pickled Long Beans was a bit too adventurous for her taste. The pancakes were more savory than expected, and the pickled long beans were quite overpowering. The service was friendly, and the restaurant itself is very cute. I might give them another try in the future and stick to something a bit more classic on the menu.
